Guided tour of the mediaeval village of Lavardin

The village of Lavardin is among "the most beautiful villages of France". Stroll through the picturesque streets ("La Rotte aux Biques", etc) lined with remarkably restored old houses from the 12th, 13th, 15th and 16th centuries

A discovery walk is proposed in Lavardin, a village burried in the greenery, on the banks of the Loir river. At the bottom of the donjon and of the impressive ruins of the medieval château, you can wander in the picturesque alleyways with flowers, lined by old houses, pace up and down the Rotte aux biques before making a stop in the Roman church of Saint Genest to admire murals from the 12th to the 16th century. Comment visits proposed during the high season. For groupes on demand.
