The château was built in the late 15th century for Philippe du Moulin, a youth of King Charles VIII who was ennobled for saving his life at the Battle of Fornoue. Built in the orange and black bricks typical of the Sologne region, the château is an emblem of the region.
This tour explores the castle's rich history and takes in its outbuildings, châtelet and lord's dwelling
rooms of the outbuildings, the châtelet and the seigneurial dwelling.
