Clap 41 is the departmental council's free mobile cinema for rural areas.
Between her duties as mayor and her role as schoolteacher in the small village of Kerguen, Alice's days are already packed. The arrival in her class of Emile, an explosive sixty-year-old who has finally decided to learn to read and write, is going to make her daily routine unmanageable. And Alice, who never saw it coming, has to save her village and her school too.
