Discover 1000 years of wall paintings in and around Vendôme… An amazing record of art of wall painting over the centuries. On a 80 km circuit through the Loir Valley and the Perche Region, more than 20 churches present an exceptional panorama of the wall paintings of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Throughout this tour, churches contain numerous painting scene, some other have isolated scenes and a few one contain fragmented decorations. Documents are available at the entrance of the church to help you in your visit, to appreciate the decorations and techniques used to illustrate a lot of subject. Guided tour on demand.
