The surrounding countryside is ideal for fishing, walking and cycling. Also nearby are the châteaux of Villesavin (18 km), and Cheverny (25 km), which inspired the Moulinsart château in Tintin's adventures. You're also less than 40 minutes from the beautiful town of Blois and its royal castle, or Romorantin-Lanthenay, where you'll find the Matra Museum (for car enthusiasts).
