In the heart of the Percheron bocage and starting from the Souday motorhome area, this vast mountain bike loop takes you through the hills of the Perche Vendôme region for an immersion in a typical environment, where natural heritage and historical buildings mark out the entire route.
Hollow paths in the groves and "trognes", hilly forest trails, fords crossing the streams of the Couëtron valley, a vast shaded pond and a real refuge for biodiversity, are the major natural assets that make up the richness of this long mountain bike trail punctuated with panoramic viewpoints.
This beautiful environment is enriched by the presence of an important built and secular heritage, composed of several castles, some of which are built in brick and slate, religious buildings sometimes atypical, small local heritage (such as traditional half-timbered houses), the unavoidable site of the Commanderie d'Arville, without forgetting an old glass factory, witness of the industrial past of the region.
