The itinerary, starting from the Souday mountain bike base (motor home area), takes you through the hills of the Perche vendômois for an undulating escapade, where natural heritage and age-old buildings are combined.
Explore the hills of the Perche region with this mountain bike loop in the Couëtron valley, a hilly, wooded area with numerous forest paths and sunken lanes, lined with hedgerows and the characteristic "trognes". There are several fords along the way, crossing the watercourses. ZNIEFF sites in the heart of the valley and the Boisvinet pond (a haven of peace for birds and a refuge for biodiversity), attest to the quality and richness of the flora and fauna environment. With its brick and slate buildings, the historic heritage is also present on the circuit. The ancient Roman road ("le chemin de César"), overlooking the "Grande Vallée" stream, offers a panoramic view of the Sarthe countryside.
