This mountain bike circuit takes you to the outskirts of Mondoubleau, to discover a varied countryside of woods, valleys and crops. A beautiful, accessible loop, perfect for gentle oxygenation, between nature and rural heritage.
Let yourself be guided by the trails of the Perche Vendômois and discover Mondoubleau, a small medieval town that looks back on more than 1000 years of history. Here, every stone tells a story: the feudal fortress built in part with roussard stone, the imposing tower, the timber-framed Governor's house and the twisted bridge, an astonishing architectural masterpiece.
Along the way, you'll pass through rolling countryside, lined with hedgerows and trognes, typical of the region. From hamlet to hamlet, you alternate between open fields, peaceful forests and secret corners, ideal for contemplation.
At the end of the route, make a well-deserved stop at the peaceful Chapoton de Cormenon pond: an ideal spot for a family picnic by the water.
