Réserve de chasse et de faune sauvage de Malzoné

The strong point of the route is the natural and ecological dimension of the site. The reserve is an area whose animal and plant potential is preserved and enhanced. The circuit offers the possibility to walk in immersion on two paths, one of which is accessible all year round.

Owned by the Departmental Federation of Hunters of Loir-et-Cher since 1977, the Malzoné Reserve has been classified as a "Sensitive Natural Area" since 2011.

Located in the communes of Millancay and Marcilly-en-Gault, this 77-hectare site, including 32 hectares of water, is a jewel for animal and plant life and is an ideal refuge for birds.

The reserve is traversed by two paths: "La Tour", accessible to the public all year round, and "du Souchet" accessible only from April 1st to September 30th to preserve the birds' wintering.

The route is marked out with observation points and two observatories equipped with illustrated educational panels.
