La forêt de Choussy
Choussy is a small village located in the Sologne Viticole, in the Cher Valley, between Touraine and Sologne. In a rural environment, this tour will be ideal to spend a quiet moment in the shade of the forest of Choussy. then along the river "Le Bavet".
This circuit will allow you to discover the beautiful Choussy forest which extends over no less than 1 200 ha. Soon after leaving the village, you will enter the forest and can hike in the shade. Rich for its fauna, you will perhaps observe, for the quiet ones, some animals! This itinerary will also be the occasion to pass near the ponds of "La Vieille" and "Brault", another typical landscape of the Sologne; of the Castle of Gué-Péan... You will finish this itinerary using the GRP® des Châteaux, which will be able to guide you to other castles in the area.
Choussy is also a wine village, take the opportunity to taste (in moderation) the wines of the village producers!
