Circuit des perce-neige
Welcome to Saint-Arnoult, a small village set on a limestone hillside in the heart of the Loir valley. Nature lovers will be enchanted by the natural scenery and intrigued by some of the old installations on this hilly circuit.
A bucolic walk awaits you along the municipal pond and then across the Longeron, a pretty stream which flows into the Loir river. Along a path cut into the rock, you'll discover a curiosity unique to the region: the quarryman's wheel, a wooden lifting device.
The adventure continues deep in the forest, with the remains of an old railroad bridge and tunnel hidden in the vegetation.
You can enjoy a well-deserved snack at the tables provided for you on arrival.
