Circuit de la Réserve naturelle nationale des vallées de la Grand-Pierre et de Vitain
Located 10 kilometres north of Blois, this itinerary allows the discovery of a unique natural and archaeological heritage. Classified since 1975 as a historical monument, the plot located on "la Grande Mesle" houses a group of funerary monuments from the Neolithic period.
Listed as a National Nature Reserve since 1979 for its natural heritage, the reserve preserves many environments and protected species. More specifically, it manages the calcicultural lawns it contains.
Classified as a Sensitive Natural Area by the Department since 2009, its artistic and educational trail welcomes a public close to nature, in complete safety.
