Circuit de la Clancheuse
Just a short distance from the centre of Pierrefitte-sur-Sauldre, a magnificent village full of flowers and traditional buildings, this little loop takes you through the typical and protected natural heritage of the "Sologne of rivers".
Located near Pierrefitte-sur-Sauldre, a "garden village" with the "4 flowers" label, with its authentic brick and timber-framed heritage, this 11 km route (classified in the Natura 2000 zone), gives you access to a preserved fauna and flora heritage, ideal for observation (admire the mauve of the heather moors as early as June!).
The mosaic of natural environments: open (grasslands, meadows and moors), wet (peat bogs, ponds, marshes) and forested, gives this environment a strong landscape identity and a considerable heritage value, because it shelters plant and animal species that live and reproduce only in these environments.
