Chemin des panoramas
Wine village of the Cher Valley, not far from the ZooParc de Beauval, Thésée is not lacking in interest! Between archaeological remains and vineyards, you will discover all the charm of this village by walking on the "Panorama Trail".
After leaving the Town Hall, where you may have visited the archaeological museum located on the 2nd floor, you will quickly arrive at the Gallo-Roman site of Mazelles. This monumental complex, in a very good state of conservation, dates from the 2nd century. Several hypotheses have been put forward concerning its function: warehouse, administrative building, legal building... The rest of the route will take you between woods and a vineyard path, with beautiful panoramas of the surrounding vineyards. You will return to the village along the Cher river. After this short hike, you can enjoy the Vaulx Saint-Georges Landscaped Park which has more than 2500 trees including cedars, sequoias, purple beeches... Fitness trail, tennis court, playground: many activities are possible!
