La forêt de Lamotte-Beuvron... à cheval
In the heart of the Sologne, 7 kms from the Lamotte-Beuvron Federal Equestrian Park and numerous accommodation sites, this small equestrian circuit offers a flexible and entirely wooded terrain, ideal for the horses to relax, especially after the major summer equestrian competitions.
Close to Vouzon, this 8.2 km equestrian course is located in the Choisy-Chardon massif, in the Lamotte-Beuvron state-owned forest.
Resulting from the afforestation of estates acquired by Napoleon III in the middle of the 19th century, the forest is home to a wide variety of "strict" forest species, including the elaphe deer, the forest cat and the common genet.
In the "Natura 2000 - Sologne special conservation area", the course is open all year round.
Mainly forested, dotted with soft and sandy paths, small ponds and moors, it is an ideal terrain for riders and horses
This small course can also be used as an initiation circuit.
